Why is are you taking part in Online-Karrieretag 2016?
We are taking part in Online-Karrieretag 2016 to present our company to a wide audience of potential candidates and to make sure to be seen as a fast growing logistics startup.
Why is the digital industry interesting for you?
BorderGuru offers a product which helps online retailers and merchants to make the cross-border online shopping experience as easy as a domestic one for the end customer. When international consumers shop for products, we calculate and include all duties and taxes for international delivery at the point of purchase, avoiding surprise costs to the customer upon delivery. The goods are also delivered directly to the customers’ front door as we ensure a smooth and seamless customs handling. We are a part of the digital revolution and our vision is to become the world’s leading asset-free logistics solutions provider specialized for B2C eCommerce.
In which departments do you search for new employees?
We mostly search for employees in Software Development (Javascript / Node.js Full Stack) and in Operations Management, to work on Logistic aspects of our business. Obviously, we also seek highly talented and experienced sales managers, which help us to rapidly extend our client base.
What makes you a great employer?
BorderGuru is a fast growing start-up, currently with around 20 employees, which offers all benefits of a digital startup, including flat hierarchies, responsibility from the first day on and working within a team of international experts. We are looking for young, motivated and highly talented people. We are a young team with employees from 13 different countries from all over the world. We want our co-workers to be hard-working, open-minded, flexible, fluent in English and excel in what they do.
